Andrew Nicholson - Windrose Coffee

Andrew Nicholson is based out of Windrose Coffee in Oman. He has extensive experience in Yemeni coffee, having lived and worked in the region for many years with green coffee before starting Windrose Coffee, Oman's first third-wave cafe and roastery, in Muscat. Andrew is a Q-Grader, an international coffee judge, educator and thus has a passion for sharing his extensive knowledge of roasting and brewing specialty coffee.

Jorge Alberto - Origin Coffee Roasting

Jorge Alberto is a stalwart of artisanal coffee roasting in Southern Africa. He comes from three generations of coffee farming and production, all based in the heart of Angolas' Gabela, Amboim region. Having sourced and roasted from some of the more inaccessible coffee farms around the world, he releases between 40 - 60 traceable single-origin coffees for Origin Coffee Roasting South Africa. He has been doing this for the last 17 years alongside the founder, Joel Singer. Jorge has seen the speciality coffee landscape evolve and change over the last decade and a half from his front-row seat at the Cape Town-based roasting operation.
